MGB Law Offices is a leading law firm in Azerbaijan. Firm’s activity in Azerbaijan is known to a wide cross-section of the government and business community, making the firm an integral part of the business scene in the Caspian Region.

The firm’s history in Azerbaijan begins from opening of a law firm “Jura Consultants Limited” in 1995. The two principals of the firm - Ismail Askerov and Elchin Mammadov - started the practice in 1995. It was one of the first foreign law firms in Azerbaijan to provide comprehensive legal support for foreign investors. The firm's team of lawyers has accumulated good practical experience based on an in-depth understanding of the Azerbaijani legal system, local business environment and the expectations of investors. MGB has achieved this as a result of the personal commitment and dedication of its highly experienced and qualified personnel.

Following the reorganisation of the firm on 1 April 1999 the firm has continued its work as “Ledingham Chalmers (Baku) Limited”. The name of the practice developed from Ledingham Chalmers to McGrigors in 2006. During the both periods the firm has taken an active part in many international business projects in Azerbaijan and rendered high quality professional services.

Since September 2007 firm has been operating under the name "MGB Law Offices Limited".
